Woocoo Historical Society Incorporated and Museum

The Society was founded in 1964. Its aims are the collection and preservation of records, maps, photographs, musical instruments, machinery and implements pertaining to the settlement of the Woocoo Shire.

The Museum consists of 12 buildings housing displays from the early settlement of the Woocoo Shire.

Opening hours are 10am to 3pm on the second Sunday of the month or by request.

Woocoo Historical Society - Brooweena 'News Bulletin' is published quarterly. Editor - Nancy Maule.

Working displays from 10am to noon on Queensland Day each year; on the first Saturday in October there is a reunion of past and present residents of the Woocoo Shire aged 60 years and over.
