New User Registration Information
To create a new directory listing you need to Register as a User first. Registration is easy and only takes a few minutes. The User Rregistration process requires that we confirm the email address you supply, when you complete the registration form, you will be sent an email with a confirm registration link. You will need to follow that link to confirm your registration before you can Log-In.
Accessing The User Menu
Once your registration is complete, you can then Logon to the site to access a User Menu, from here you will find more menu options to:
- Your Details (Change Password or Email Address)
- Logout (Logout Link)
- New Listing Information (This Page)
- My Listings Management (Manage existing listings)
Creating A New Listing
Creating a listing for the Business and Community Directory can be completed in 4 easy steps:
- Using the "Directory Categories" navigate to the category in which you would like to place your listing. If you can't find an appropriate category, simply place it closest related category and then we'll move it for you if it needs be.
- Once you have successfully navigated to the "Listing Category" find and click on the link "Add a New Listing in this Category" and select the listing type
- When the "Add Listing" page appears, complete all the details in the form provided with the information about your listing. All items have brief information to help you complete the form, simply hover your curser over the text boxes to reveal help for that item. When you have provided as much information as you can select the "Submit" button at the bottom or top of the form.
- A New page will open (My Listings Management) displaying all your current, expired and pending listings. New listings require approval will be displayed with basic details only. Once the listing has been approved you can edit any information by simply clicking on the Edit tag at the beginning of the listing Title.
Note: After you have submited the Listing Details form you can return at anytime to edit the listing/s by selecting "Manage My Listings" from the User Menu.
Activating A New Listing
At this stage your "New Listing" will be placed in a pending file and can not be seen by the public until such time as it is activated and or approved by the Directory Administrators.
Activation of the listing requires confirming the type of listing (Free, Standard, Featured, Community Standard or Community Free) and then processing a either payment option or confirming the listing if a free type.
Approved payments via PayPal will instantly activate a paid type listing, where as all other payment or free options will require approval by the Directory Administrators which may take up to 5 business days to process.
To Activate a New Listing please follow these few steps;
- Select My Page from the Directory Menu, then from the resulting page select the Listing you wish to activate by clicking on the "Confirm Free Listing", "Pay Offline" or "Pay by PayPal" button.
- For Free Listings or Pay Offline options simply complete the form displayed and our administrators will review your listing and publish it in due course depending on the details provided.
- If paying by PayPal you will be directed to the PayPal website. After successful payment, your listing will be published automatically.

Fraser Coast On-Line Listing Options
Fraser Coast On-line now introduces more options and opportunities to advertise on the Fraser Coast's most popular on-line business and community directory. Bay Connect, Image Sic Graphics and a small but dedicated group of volunteers, are continuosly working tirelessly in the background updating Fraser Coast Online to maintain what we believe is the most up to date, on-line regional directory in Queensland
. A new Service Area enhancement has been added for all Standard and Featured Listings. The Service Areas can be helpful to further define your organisations demographic area and better assist people seeking your service. This is just one of many new enhancements aimed at providing more information about your organisation, which in turn will help us maintain the most up to date on line directory for the Fraser Coast Region.
Fraser Coast On-Line now offers five levels of listing options for the directory pages, from basic free text entries to fully featured (mini web page) listings, you are bound to find a listing level to suit your organisations requirements.
Business Listings
Free Basic Business Listings Free listings are offered to local business groups with basic text entry including up to 150 characters of text for a description of service and basic contact details and are limited to display in business service categories only. A free basic listing can not include Email or Website details.
Standard Business ListingsA Standard Business Listing is ideal for a business or organisation that only needs to display some information about their products or services. With this listing you can add a single logo and up to 3 product/service images with additional text. Whilst less information is displayed in the Basic Information section (up to 150 text characters), the excluded information is displayed in full in the More Info section the same as a Featured Listing. Standard Business Listings are available for only $29.95 per year.
Featured ListingsFeatured Listings have the highest priorty for display and are displayed first (in alphbetical order). Featured listings are defined by a light Grey Background in the Basic Details Section and the word "Featured" along side the listing name. More comprehensive details about your organization are displayed in the basic information section these details help make the listing more prominent than a standard listing in the Basic Information Section view.
A Featured Listing is ideal for a business or organisation who requires their basic information to be more prominent. The Featured listing also enables the user to display additional information and images in the "More Info" section of their listing. Featured Listings are available for only $49.95 per year.
Not for Profit Community Listings
Free Basic Community Listings Free Basic Community Listings are offered to any not for profit community group. This basic text entry includes up to 150 characters of text for a description of service and basic contact details, a free basic listing can not include Email or Website details.
Standard Community Listings Free Standard Community Listings are available for not for profit organisations allowing the display basic information about a single product or service. Additionally a single logo and one service/product image and additional service description can be included. Whilst less information is displayed in the Basic Information section (up to 150 characters), the excluded information is then displayed in full in the More Details section the same as a Featured Listing. Free Standard Community Listings can only be placed in community related categories
Please Note: Both Free Community and Standard Community Listings are only available to Not for Profit Organizations free of charge and are limited to display in the Community Service Categories only. Listings created deemed commercial may be deleted without notice by the directory administrators. Standard Community Listings must contain enough information to warrant the space provided otherwise the directory administrators reserve the right to convert the listing to a Free Basic Listing without notification.
